Thailand’s digital coding toy to hone Thai children’s computer programming skills
KidBright is a digital board created by NECTEC in order for
Thai children to learn about computer programming as well as train their
problem-solving skills while playing with their smartphones, tablets or
computers.
NSW technology upgrade to improve trains and services for Australians
A budget of A$880 million will be invested on technology
that will modernise the Sydney Trains network. This will allow a potential 80%
increase for morning peak hours or around 8 more services for the T8 Airport
line at the International, Domestic, Mascot and Green Square station. This will
also mean a 30% increase in capacity for the T4 Illawarra line since 5 more
trains will be added per hour during peak times.
Innovations Lab to foster community learning and socialising in Western Australia

new Innovations Lab, which will encourage community socialising and learning,
was recently launched in the City of Stirling. The City received a funding of
A$50,000 to develop it so that the Mirrabooka Library users can learn about
computers and test new technologies like 3D printing and robotics, among
others.
