New technology for early detection of Type
1 diabetes is being developed by researchers and will be able to accurately
predict if a child is at risk of the chronic disease. The technology developed
by RMIT scientists and engineers uses a microchip and sensor to determine early
loss of beta cells.

The National Science and Technology
Development Agency (NSTDA) declared that among the top 10 technologies to watch
out for this year are health/medical tech, digital tech, artificial
intelligence (AI) and material tech. Health

India inks five Memorandums of Understanding with South Korea in Science & Technology


The South
Korea and Indian Ministers of Science and Technology signed three MoUs on
technology development, and the Indian Council of Scientific & Industrial Research
and the South Korean National Research Council for Science & Technology
inked two MoUs on scientific research. Both countries renew the Programme
of Cooperation in the field of Science and Technology for 2018-21 to augment
the cooperation in science, technology and innovation.
