In today’s data-driven landscape, organisations across various sectors harness the power of data to gain insights, make informed decisions, and enhance their operations. Data enhancement, which involves refining, enriching, and optimising data sets, has emerged as a critical practice. It ensures that organisations’ information is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant. It enables them to unlock new avenues for growth, streamline processes, and deliver better products and services to their customers.

Governments also are embracing the data revolution. They increasingly leverage data to enhance public administration, policymaking, and service delivery. By harnessing the potential of data, governments can make evidence-based decisions, improve resource allocation, and respond more effectively to the needs of their citizens. Whether it’s optimising transportation networks, improving healthcare systems, or enhancing educational outcomes, data-driven approaches are becoming central to achieving these goals.

Recently, the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA) and the Office of the Administrative Court have collaborated on the partnership through a signing ceremony for a data processing agreement (DPA). This agreement aims to establish a seamless connection between the service system responsible for screening and certifying copies of electronic judgments and orders issued by the Administrative Court.

Dr Supot Tiarawut, the Director of the Digital Government Development Agency, and Ms. Somruedee Thanyasiri, the Secretary-General of the Office of the Administrative Courts, presided over the signing ceremony. This significant partnership signifies a pivotal step towards enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of services provided through the “government” application.

Joining them in this collaborative endeavour were Mr Prapat Tansuwannon, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the Administrative Courts, and Ms Apinporn Angkakamolset, Deputy Director of the Digital Government Development Agency, who acted as witnesses to this agreement. The occasion also witnessed the presence of Digital Government Development Agency executives and staff, further underscoring the commitment and dedication of both organisations to improve the delivery of administrative services through digital means. This collaboration holds great promise for streamlining processes and enhancing the overall experience for users of the government application and, ultimately, the broader public.

This collaborative effort between the Digital Government Development Agency and the Office of the Administrative Courts is poised to substantially improve the convenience and accessibility of services for the public. By integrating the services of the Office of the Administrative Courts into the state app, individuals can seamlessly register for and utilise a wide range of services offered by the Administrative Courts.

Among the services available through this digital integration is the ability to submit selection requests or requests to certify copies of judgments and orders issued by the Administrative Court. Moreover, individuals can easily access and review their administrative case information, making staying informed about their legal matters more convenient than ever.

Additionally, the incorporation of online payment options for fees related to requests for certification of copies of judgments and orders, complete with the issuance of electronic fee receipts, simplifies financial transactions and adds a layer of transparency to the process.

Dr Supot Tiarawut acknowledged that one of the most significant benefits of this collaboration is the seamless delivery of judgment and instruction file links upon request, along with the convenience of receiving service notification messages electronically. It streamlines the entire process and significantly reduces costs associated with traditional in-person services.
