A*STAR is going to extend the reach of its Operation and
Technology Roadmapping (OTR) service through consortium-style OTRs. To further
strengthen Singapore’s trade ecosystem, the Government will establish the Trade
Infrastructure Development Fund (TIDF) this year. To support startups, SPRING
will also be launching the Startup SG (SSG) Network later this year.
LTA to implement QR code-enabled geo-fencing solution for dockless bicycle-sharing

Operators will require their users to scan the unique QR
code at the parking location as proof of proper parking, before they can end
their trip. They may also be required to continuously charge users who do not
park properly.
Indian Government’s Fintech Steering Committee to explore regulatory sandbox model

The Committee will also work with government agencies like
UIDAI to explore the creation and use of unique enterprise identification
number. It will consider means of using data from the Goods and Services
Tax Network, along with data residing with information utilities such as Credit
Information Companies (CICs) to develop applications for financing of MSMEs.
