Order fulfilment is managed through a computerised system
with robots retrieving the items needed and shifting bins around to maximise
space. The system is able to handle up to 3,000 orders per day and is four
times faster compared to Radio Frequency-assisted picking.
The Centre has been established through a collaboration

Study found that rapid genomic sequencing tests can speed up diagnosis and deliver results up to 10 times faster than more traditional tests.
The scientists grew nanopilllars of zinc oxide and created a nano
coating that can spontaneously kill bacteria upon contact. The zinc oxide
nanopillars can kill a broad range of germs like E. coli and S. aureus that are
commonly transmitted from surface contact.
