Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) announces the launch of The Technology Leaders of Tomorrow Programme (TLT Programme), which aims to nurture future technology leaders in Hong Kong, and has been designed in collaboration with 11 leading HKSTP’s partner companies at the pilot stage.

The programme is now calling for ambitious graduates across the city who are committed to an I&T career to submit applications.

The programme is a signature scheme under the new HKSTP InnoAcademy, whose mission is to boost the competitiveness of Hong Kong’s innovation and technology (I&T) industry.

The initiative brings together comprehensive training, on-the-job learning, and other value-added services to nurture young and talented leaders of tomorrow.

The CEO of HKSTP stated that The Park is committed to accelerating the growth of Hong Kong’s innovation and technology through supporting the development of local start-ups and introducing young people to the promising career prospects and rich opportunities in the industry.

Under the current economic environment, the Park’s team understands the tough challenges the younger generation may face when planning their career. By launching the TLT Programme, HKSTP strives to unleash the potential of young graduates and groom a new generation of outstanding leaders in innovation.

The programme will provide a variety of training and placement opportunities to equip them to become a driving force in the future of Hong Kong’s I&T sector.

Selected talents will undergo an extensive 26-month programme, comprising a 24-month full-time R&D role in one of 11 partner companies including major tech giants where there will be at least one vacancy available with each company.

Talents will also receive training in research and development, business skills and career guidance. Those on the programme will have two months of extensive innovation and leadership training, career guidance, as well as an innovation and technology industry bootcamp.

They are also given unique access and networking opportunities with leading entrepreneurs, as well as a chance to join an exclusive Greater Bay Area innovation and technology tour.

University graduates who studied Science or Engineering, and graduated for less than 2 years are eligible to apply. Depending on the level of degree achieved, graduates will earn a monthly salary starting from HK$25K for Bachelor’s, HK$30K for Master’s, and up to HK$45K for PhDs.

The application for the TLT Programme is now open and will close on 29 July 2020 (Wednesday), at 23:59 hrs, Hong Kong time. The pilot programme will commence in mid-September 2020. Please visit InnoAcademy website for more information and timeline of the programme.
