In fact, preliminary findings suggest that the adoption of PolyU’s technology could lead to a substantial increase in network capacity, up to 10%, without compromising reliability. This newfound efficiency is poised to revolutionise the way cloud networks are managed and scaled, particularly during high-traffic events such as e-commerce festivals and large-scale gatherings.

The research endeavour is supported by the Innovation and Technology Commission’s Partnership Research Programme. This funding not only facilitated the realisation of PolyU’s groundbreaking research but also underscored the importance of public-private partnerships in driving technological innovation and economic growth.
