True Digital Park, Thailand’s first and Southeast Asia’s largest digital innovation hub, announced the completion of its start-up ecosystem, reinforcing the readiness to drive the regional digital economy forward.
The opening ceremony was presided over by the nation’s Deputy Prime Minister who also gave a keynote speech at the T.O.P. 2019 – Togetherness of Possibilities, a tech conference designed to inspire, share knowledge, and experiences featuring top executives and entrepreneurs which will help drive more sustainable digital economic development in Thailand and the region.
Start-ups and those who are interested in the digital technology sector participated in the conference and visited True Digital Park’s Innovation space, showcasing new technologies, innovation labs and experience centres exhibited by partners from both the public and private sectors.
The latest technologies to be featured at True Digital Park include True 5G showcase.
The Chief Executive Officer of the True Corporation stated that innovation and digital technology are the driving forces of digital transformation especially for enterprises and industries that need to change their business model and apply digital technology to create added value for products and services.
Meanwhile, digital technology also plays an important role in digitizing in making communities, societies, healthcare and the environment better. It also reduces the income divide and helps to sustainably create prosperity for Thailand.
The ‘True Digital Park’ has been developed to increase Thailand’s competencies through innovation, creativity and technology. All these factors combine to create sustainable economic growth in the long run.
The Park is focused on building a complete start-up ecosystem that encourages connectivity and knowledge sharing which creates a collaborative network for business expansion.
The partners that comprise this start-up ecosystem include the Government, multinational tech companies, academia, investors and numerous start-ups.
They help strengthen True Digital Park to become Thailand’s largest digital innovation hub in Southeast Asia. True Digital Park is one of True Group’s proud achievements that will help position Thailand as the regional innovation and digital hub.
The President of True Digital Park stated that the mission of True Digital Park is to enhance the competency of startups and tech entrepreneurs, helping them reach their full potential, grow and compete in the global marketplace.
