Dr Kalaiselvi stressed CSIR’s commitment to indigenisation across its 37 laboratories, showcasing success stories like the ‘Purple Revolution’ achieved through Lavender cultivation in Jammu & Kashmir, illustrating how technological innovation in agriculture can spur economic growth. This aligns with India’s broader effort to leverage technology for inclusive governance, as exemplified by initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir, inspiring similar endeavours in Himalayan states.

Additionally, the CSIR program highlighted PRIMA ET11, India’s first women-friendly compact Electric Tractor, showcasing the country’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity in technology development. This aligns with earlier initiatives, reinforcing India’s drive for technological self-reliance and inclusivity.
