It signifies a shared commitment to fostering impactful collaborations in AI and emerging technologies, with a particular emphasis on nurturing startups in both urban centres and smaller towns across India.

During the programme’s launch event, Minister Chandrasekhar emphasised the significance of partnerships in accelerating innovation within India’s burgeoning tech ecosystem. An executive from the company expressed optimism about India’s potential to leverage AI for societal impact, underscoring the need to empower the next generation of innovators to harness AI effectively. The iMPEL-AI programme, he noted, is designed to nurture a dynamic AI ecosystem in India, bridging the nation’s AI skill gap and unlocking new possibilities across various domains.
